  1. For a very good reason I am unable to attend the Parish Council Meetings but I do have an interest in what is going on .
There may well be very good reasons why the Council Minutes are not really uptodate however I would be interested in the latest happening within the Council meetings . I would also appreciate reading the County Councillors report – I am sure that she is a busy Cllr but it’s good to keep upto speed with what she is involved in on Council business . The previous Cllr had a report openly published .

    • Dear Mr Williams
I am learning how to add and update things on the new PC website and am slowly getting to grips with it, as and when other priorities permit. I am sorry your comment has been left unread for so long. All this year’s minutes will be showing within a day or so. When Ward Councillor Pauline Crockett gives her report I make brief notes and they are included in the minutes.
      regards, Hazel Philpotts, parish clerk

  2. Hello, The Parish council website informs us that the Development Plan has been forwarded to Herefordshire Council. Hopefully, “within a few days”, we shall know what has been changed since the public consultation and the reasons why…..and what has been ignored and again the reasons why they have been ignored.
At a recent Parish Council meeting, a letter which I wrote and asked to have read out during the 10 minute allocations given to the general public was given pretty short shrift by the Chairman, and, it seems, tried initially to forget that this request had been made. Only insistence from the Public Gallery forced the Chairman to read out the letter. I find this disappointing to say the least.

    • Dear Mr White
Burghill’s draft NDP has been published again today for public consultation as it is at the Regulation 16 consultation stage, the documents are available on HC’s website andI have also added a a link from Burghill’s site.
Please could I clarify that the 10 minutes allocated to the public at each meeting is available for any parishioner or member of the public who attends the meeting, anyone is welcome to attend and speak. If more than one member of the public wishes to speak we should really divide up the 10 minutes between speakers, but Burghill PC regularly allows this agenda item to stretch beyond its 10 minutes to allow everyone to have their say. I hope you will be able to attend future meetings.
      with regards
      Hazel Philpotts
      Parish Clerk

  3. 010317 For whatever reason the Planning Application page has changed to a general information page – will it revert back to a PA .Thank you

    • Dear David

I am temporarily managing the website to keep it up to date. It would be helpful if you could let me know if you have subscribed to the website and if so, if you get alerts when items are published on the site. Hope you are keeping well. Regards. Sally (Robertson)

  4. The below is comment from April 2016 – the last minutes uploaded was Novembet 2016 so with respect it appears that nothing has changed – unless one attends the PC meeting which I am unable to do .
As an aside I sent a message re the planning page having disappeared – it appears that my message has disappeared plus if a reply was sent I ha not received it .
