Notes on a meeting held on 27th May 2015 in Simpson Hall
Present:- Anthony Vaughan, Bernie Green, Sally Robertson, Janette Pudsey, Mike Buffey, Andy Ronneback, Harriett Gordon, Lynette Loban, Alan Stokes.
Apologies:- Hazel Philpotts, Joanna Helme.
Absent:- Julie Devenish.
Site Assessment Report:- The PC have agreed that the Site Assessment Report can be sent to the consultants. Anthony will check that this has been carried out. (Has now been sent).
Financial Matters:- The extension for Lottery funding could be a further 8 – 10 months. Hazel is working on this.
Grant Application:- Hazel has sent the grant application to DCLG. We have been asked about consultants charges and Kirkwells have been asked to reply. The money might have to be spent within six months.
Consultants:- Kirkwells have sent us their project plan with an initial date for the parish referendum on the draft NP of June 2016.
EIP:- Hazel has made the submission on housing growth to HC at 11% and not the original Coe Strategy proposal of 18%. Sally has also made a submission with the same objective. We are unlikely to see a Core Strategy in place before the autumn.
Development Sites in the Parish:- A planning application has been submitted for 24 houses at Pyefinch. For two small areas of land behind Little Pyefinch and Pyefinch House applications have been made for change of use to gardens.
An application has been submitted for a Gypsy Site at Lower Portway.
Tillington Fruit Farm – Farmcare have mentioned the potential for re-development of the fruit farm buildings under permitted development rights.
Persimon Housing has contacted the PC regarding possible development at Lower Burlton. A meeting is being arranged and Anthony Vaughan, Janette Pudsey and Alan Stokes will discuss the matter with Persimon representatives.
Risk Register:- Andy tabled his Risk Register for the NDP project.
Settlement Boundaries:- Proposals for new SB’s at Lower Burlton and Tillington were discussed and agreed. Burghill has an existing SB and any proposals regarding this were put back pending the result of the new planning application for Pyefinch. These matters will be put to the next PC meeting.
